We have excellent
grazing and fields can be divided into paddocks for individuals, pairs or
groups of horses with electric fencing as appropriate. We will never introduce
visitors' horses into our own herd as this would only be to invite trouble! If stabling is
required, there are various options to choose from, depending on availability
or suitability. We have two adjoining 10' x 16' traditional stone stables
with cobbled floors and one 12' x 16' next door to them. We also have three
modern 12' x 12' partitioned boxes within a newly constructed barn.
Horses can also be kept singly or together in very large
open-fronted pens.
We use straw bedding but shavings can be made available with prior
notice and at an extra charge. Good quality hay and home grown haylage is
available and included in the price where required. We can also supply hard
feed on request - we usually have a reasonable range but please let us know if
there is a feed you prefer.
There are lights in all the stables, easily accessible taps, tying up and horse wash facilities. The tack room is in the house and grooming kits are available.
